Hello,
I am seeking information on workplace programs which promote energy & water efficiency actions at home. I have already looked into the Action by Canadians/Count Me In program (Canada), and the 1-2-3 Campaign Against Global Warming (Oregon, U.S.) Does anyone know of other case studies, programs, etc.?

Hi Selene,
I've worked with A Nurtured World Non-Profit Agency...They get the majority of their grant funding from USEPA, but also are used by private entities to develop customized behavior-change programs for employees that encourage energy conservation and also all other 'impact reduction' practices in their homes. www.nurturedworld.org is the website and Susan Roothaan is the Executive Director (512) 663-1496, [email protected] They structure behavior change programs for industrial and government facilities that encourage employees to reduce their environmental footprint at home as well as save significant money in the process.

City of Kamloops (British Columbia) promotes water conservancy via TV ads, etc. Residents are encouraged to use less water.. ie. education on watering schedules (lawns, etc.), testing toilet tanks for leaks, encouraging people to fix dripping taps.
Hope this helps
