Interestingly, the main utilities in Colorado that are using rebates are the larger water utilities. Denver Water has offered different types of rebates over the past several years, including for high-efficiency washing machines. The rebates are for water savings, but happen to help with electrical savings, too. Maybe the electrical and water utilities should work together for mutual benefit...
