Hello Everyone:
I am looking for information on educational programs, policies, or bylaws that municipalities across North America have implemented to reduce residential pesticide use. In particular actual statistics gathered by the municipality or local researchers to evaluate the effectiveness of the program they developed. Although a ton of municipalities have implemented practices there doesn't seem to be much data on the evaluation of such programs with the except of a few best practice reviews and reports completed by Halifax and Toronto, Any information anyone could pass along would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Regina,
Chances are that you're familiar with this report, but just in case....
The Impact of By-Laws and Public Education Programs on Reducing the Cosmetic / Non- Essential, Residential Use of Pesticides: A Best Practices Review. Prepared by the Canadian Centre for Pollution Prevention and Cullbridge Marketing and Communications.
It looks at programs in Canada, the US and Europe, I believe, and evaluates results based on available data.

Jan
