Sewage to Water

This makes me wonder about the value of water if it is so purified. When water is purified to that extent is looses its natural chemicals that make it so useful to our bodies. Yes, effluent and such need to be extracted though the idea of feeding it back to aquifers for me is the best option to allow re-absorption of these minerals and cleanse itself through natural means. Or else, it is a bit like taking all the goodness out and drinking just the H20 - water is rather complex in fact. And are they capturing storm and rain water in the first instance I wonder, to avoid or reduce the need for recycling which is costly in terms of money, materials and energy.
