I was wondering if anyone has some great curriculum programs or ideas for middle school kids using Math and History to calculate and measure changes in ecological footprints, waste issues, energy conservation and habitat protection. I am not looking for waste or energy audits we have this covered already.
Thanks

Horizon Utilities is sponsoring this 10-lesson curriculum course for 7,500 Grade 5 students in Ontario. The course teaches children about different forms of energy, the impact each form of energy has on the environment, and how to conserve electricity. It is an excellent hands-on program that incorporates math, science, literacy, social science and daily physical activity. If you want more information, simply use the email address on the website.
