Horizon Utilities is sponsoring this 10-lesson curriculum course for 7,500 Grade 5 students in Ontario. The course teaches children about different forms of energy, the impact each form of energy has on the environment, and how to conserve electricity. Our 1/2 day workshops are offered to schools for students in kindergarten to grade 8. The students become scientists in their classrooms by participating in hands-on, curriculum-aligned science and technology workshops.

There are two lessons (that I know of) in Project WET that would address this issue. They're called "Color Me a Watershed" and "Sum of the Parts." I've successfully used both in both Middle and High School classes. Their website is http://www.projectwet.org/
