Through our CoP we would like to explore the applicability of System Thinking to understanding and developing some strategy or approaches for community action for the control of invasive weeds. We have found the language a bit difficult. Has anyone applied System Thinking and perhaps simplified the language? Would appreciate any comments and views...

I'm using systems approaches in a variety of settings, all at a pretty neophyte stage. However a couple here in Canberra who are teaching this have these papers to refer to:

Thank you, I found the material very useful and help our CoP in coming to grips with system thinking. We have not have the first iteration of a system map, which I believe needs further refinement.
