As all Sports clubs are recommencing training in Ireland after lockdown and Government Guidelines require high levels of sanitization of equipment, facilities and athletes so we are looking for options to do this in a eco-friendly manner. Any advice is very welcome.

Hi Philippa,
I've searched around and found some resources for you. The first is a link to the Centres for Disease Control (CDC) regarding how to clean and disinfect your facility. It includes an external link to the Environment Protection Agency's (EPA's) list of disinfectants to use against COVID-19. I've also included something similar, which is a blog from NASM (a trusted name in fitness certification) that discusses how to disinfect your fitness facility. It includes many academic sources, so the information is credible. You can also check out this link to the David Suzuki Foundation's website. The David Suzuki Foundation is a well-known and credible environmental organization in Canada. That link has information on non-toxic disinfectants. Finally, I've attached an academic article by Blocken et al (2020) on COVID-19 and indoor sports centres that includes some information on filtering air that you might find useful. I hope this helps--best wishes!
