Investigated whether environmentalism shows a class bias. An informal survey of occupations was conducted at 11 meetings of environmentalist groups. 88 individuals were in nonmanual occupations and 37 in manual occupations. It is concluded that manual workers are attracted to environmentalist meetings in the same proportion as their proportion in the general population.
