Studied the relationship between ecological concern and voting behavior using data on consumer behavior on container deposit (bottle) bills in California and Colorado. Results indicate that the influence of ecological concern, measured as a global attitude, is mediated by more specific attitudinal, normative, and behavioral intention variables.
