Evaluated the impact of the environmental education program NatureScope (developed by the National Wildlife Federation) in regular classrooms where it was used as a curriculum supplement. Teachers used the materials in 48 5th- and 7th-grade classrooms for 8 wks. A pre-/posttest design produced few significant differences between groups exposed to the materials and the control groups, although exposed groups did exhibit positive attitudes.
