There's an online question-and-answer with George Monbiot in response to the question "To fly or not to fly? It is the ethical traveller's most pressing dilemma." In his new book _Heat_, reviewed last week in the Guardian, environmental campaigner George Monbiot argued that there is no "technofix" to the damaging growth in air travel and that most of the planes flying today must be grounded to avoid disastrous climate change. The posts range from the nitty-gritty of carbon-rations to more ideological musings. I have found my sampling of the exchanges to be instructive for considering the possibilities of encouraging sustainable air travel. Now it's your chance to put your questions to the man who claims that if you had read all the climate research he has, you would never go near an airport again. There's all sorts of posts and conversations which I deem relevant to fsb and cbsm!
