Hello. I have been researching the use of social psychology and CBSM for applicability to changing perceptions of local residents (and agencies/institutions) on the recovery of endangered predator populations which lead to public encounters with wildlife. My particular focus is the American crocodile and Florida panther in south Florida. So far from my literature search, CBSM seems to be a viable path to provide the public with the correct interpretation of such an encounter. If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions on this use of CBSM, I would enjoy the input.

Thank you for any insight.
