Seeking Information on Campaigns to Promote and Protect Natural Heritage

Greetings all:

We are responsible for thousands of acres of conservation land. One of our 'friends' groups would like to raise public awareness about environmental pressures from human activities. For instance, this might include educating users not to go off-trail, not to damage or pick plants and to support measures respecting the natural heritage. Can anyone point me to a successful campaign that accomplished these and related goals, please?
