I just came across a trade journal for architects titled "eco-structure" it is filled with articles and of course ads from manufacturers about green commercial design, from office buildings to apartment complexes. Among other things I learned the American Institute of Architects has a Committee on the Environment which selected 10 projects for awards based on their application of principles of sustainable design. The AIA also has a Center for Communities by Design which has just selected its third year's cohort of towns and cities to recieve technical assistance in sustainable design.
