* 3 people wanted to collaborate

* A reportedly well-done campaign out of Australia: http://www.1degree.com.au/what_we_are_doing/australia

* The City of Berkeley used the ISO 14000 Environmental Management System to engage employees in a process to identify environmental aspects of their jobs and help identify ways to reduce or eliminate any negative impacts. http://www.epa.gov/oppt/p2home/pubs/programs/voluntary.htm

* Suggestion to check out what New Belgium Brewery in Fort Collins, Colorado is doing Thanks all for your replies and should you think of additional companies or programs that are being used to inspire and engage employees to reduce their individual environmental impact at work or at home, please let us all know.

Seeking Info on Employee Engagement in Reducing Environmental Impact:

Hi All,

I am seeking information on methods companies are using to inspire and engage employees to reduce their individual environmental impact at work or at home. If you are involved in such an initiative and can provide some description of the program and its successes / challenges, it would be much appreciated. I would also be interested in any references you have at your fingertips describing other such programs. The research question we are attempting to address through secondary sources is: "What methods are medium to large sized companies (more than 100 employees) in North America currently using to inspire and engage individual employees to reduce their environmental impact at work and at home?" This is part of an MBA-program team research project that aims to identify current best practices. Thanks in advance for your assistance,

-Rhiannon
