The Recycling Department of Keep America Beautiful is pleased to invite you to join us in a mini workshop on "Promoting Recycling Behavior" on Wednesday August 28 from 12:00 pm -4:00 pm at the Resource Recycling Conference in Louisville, KY. (Note: we will adjourn between 3:30 and 4:00pm)

Wesley Schultz, Ph.D., Professor of Psychology at California State University, will provide an overview of effective tools for promoting change and will summarize findings from behavioral science and provide specific techniques for effective behavior change, focused around the broad model of Community Based Social Marketing (CBSM).

Additionally, this workshop will also provide an overview of the multi-media national recycling public service announcement campaign Keep America Beautiful, in partnership with the Ad Council, launched in July. Specifically, there will be discussion about how the campaign assets can be utilized locally.
