I'm interested in examples or case studies of CBSM programs that have been implemented for addressing the illegal dumping of trailer/"ute" loads of household items in natural areas. Examples of the waste are usually mixed loads exceeding 200 litres in volume - containing items such as mattresses, fridges, washing machines, and smaller miscellaneous waste item. Examples of dumping locations usually include public natural areas such as state forests, national parks, and other state land. There appears to be little CBSM case study material specifically related to this environmental management matter, so I'm interested in seeing and comparing other research, strategies, and campaigns/collateral.

Hey David, me too. I am trying to devise a program to tackle the same issue but have struggled to find evidence of motivations for such dumping and effective ways to tackle the behavior.
