I am looking to connect with others involved in preventing litter and debris on roadways that is caused by uncovered loads while heading to proper disposal destinations.
I recently ran across an older thread in which another Cover Your Load Campaign had implemented a $15 fee for all uncovered loads at the disposal site. The $15 charge covered issuing the hauler a tarp for each uncovered load to use to cover future loads.
If anyone else involved in this forum has similar experience or ideas for Cover Your Load campaigns, then I would love to hear from you! What does your campaign look like? How did you gain funding?
