Knowledge of Energy Consumption

Weber, R. J., & Price, J. M. (1980). Knowledge of energy consumption. Bulletin of the Psychonomic Society, 15, 4, 267-268.

Two forms of energy consumption were assessed: continuous use over a short time interval and typical use over 1 yr. Results with 25 undergraduates indicate that this population did not possess very accurate information about appliance energy consumption. (3 ref)
