Issaquah Salmon Days Festival is a community event which draws over 200,000 people to the town of Issaquah, Washington. My role is "Garbage Czar". As Csar, I am very concerned about minimizing the flow of festival waste into the landfill. We have implimented a recycling/environmental program which won us a gold medal at the International Festival Producers Conference in 2000.
