I am a Registered Nurse interested in sustainable and healthy communities. I am currently volunteering in The Way to Go program that encourages healthy behavioral change (i.e. getting parents to explore means--other than the automobile--for getting their kids to school in a safe, healthy and environmentally friendly fashion. I am using this work as part of a Nursing faculty course at the University of Victoria which explores "change" models and how nurses can facilitate change.
