I founded and chaired an environmental committee at Bishop's University in Lennoxville, Quebec. When I graduated in 1998, the university had established a campus-wide recycling program for plastic, glass, and paper. The committee also focused on changing policies to create a more sustainable campus. In the winter of 2000, I was notified that a waste management policy accepted by the board of directors.More recently, I have been volunteering at a wildlife rehabilitation centre in Sackville, New Brunswick. Maritime Atlantic Wildlife is interested in wildlife rehabilitation, education, and management.
