SICSD is a newly reorganized not-for-profit organization that strives to combine the efforts of Southern Illinois University and the City of Carbondale in order to provide a greener environment for the region. We are partners with Rebuild America (Illinois & Carbondale), Project IMPACT, and many others. From recycling to renewable energy, we attempt to raise awareness in the region and act collectively to get the public involved in various events.
