The Greater Minnesota Housing Fund is a non profit foundation that promotes starter home subdivision developments in areas of Greater Minnesota (outside twin cities metro area) where economic growth has occurred and a subsequent lack of affordable housing for working families. Our board of directors is interested in pilot projects which would include green building to compliment our other goals of good neighborhood design preventing sprawl inclusion of and enhancement of natural systems within our developments. We will fund and provide technical assistance (land use planning, home design infrastructure design) to construct 500- 700 housing units a year over the next five years.
