I am working with a group of students (ages 9-12) to form an environmental club at our school. I am not an expert in any way, I am just interested in raising awareness of my children and other children about how we can all become activists in our daily lives. We have had only two meetings, infact we don't even have a name for our club yet. We are going to invite experts from different areas to speak with us about different issues - recycling and global warming are high on our list. We are all interested in gaining knowledge in as many areas as possible and it is already becoming apparent how many issues there are facing our world. But yet it is so amazing how each problem is connected to another. That's my story in a nutshell.
