Chikoot Indian Assoc.received an epa capacity building grant(IGAP) and is currently working in cooperation with the City of Haines,Ak and the Borough of Haines on a solid waste management plan.Also involved are The Chilkat Indian Village,Haines sanitation,Lynn Canal Conservation, Haines Friends of Recycling and many volunteers
