I am interested in the best ways to bring the sustainability movement to the mainstream consciousness. I am thinking of creating a project in Los Angeles, CA that is called EcoHouse LA and will be a central resource for information on sustainable building and home living (composting, gardening, solar, etc.) that is highly visible and a pet project of celebrities and a must-see site in Los Angeles. It will be an interactive learning center for children, youth and adults in Los Angeles. The EcoHouse will be built by the community. The intent is to alter the collective consciousness of Los Angeles to bring sustainable living on a daily basis to our community. Any thoughts?
