I did a doctoral dissertation not so long ago that studied the efficacy of environmental shopping education programs conducted in 2 New York City supermarkets. Also, I've been Chair of the Air and Waste Management Association's Integrated Waste Management technical committee for a number of years. We organize sessions including waste prevention and recycling for the annual conference.
