Doug, I found out about your site from yourself during your May 9th talk at Metro Hall. I work in the communications section for the City of Toronto's Works & Emergency Services Department focusing largely on organics diversion (grasscycling, composting, yard waste collection), promote pesticide reduction in collaboration with Public Health and Parks & Recreation, communications for where/how Toronto will deal with their long term waste disposal needs (currently underway with three category RFP process: disposal, diversion and new & emerging technologies), communication for city's Keele Valley Landfill Site (focus on outcome of status of class action lawsuit), web site coordination for information our dept. posts on internet, editor of dept. staff newsletter - circulation 10,000(opportunity to entertain/educate divisional staff about each other's focus/programs), promotion for Waste Watcher Volunteer Program, deal a bit with water issues, also work with Toronto Ambulance Services.
