On a recent trip to the supermarket I was distressed to see not one, but two sizesable corregated displays of Nabisco products along one isle. They obviously will be discarded within a short period of time. In all probability the products displayed on them are also stocked on a shelf in their section. The displays will probably be recycled, but that involves transportation and additional use of chemichals and energy. Supermarkets of necessity contribute a lot of pollution without increasing environmental problems that can be avoided. If there are any campaigns to advertise in grocers mags, an ad asking grocers to refuse to use such displays would be in order. It is such an obvious affront that will that if peoples attention is directed to it there is a chance that they will become more aware of the problem of excess packaging. 3333
