I am a toxicologist for the California EPA. I primarily review risk assessments from "sites" which may be in communities where individuals have potential exposure and thus health concerns. I am also interested in environmental education, and in providing workshops for secondary teachers and community members to help them understand how chemical contaminants in the environment interact with endogenous biochemicals in the body. There may be opportunities to foster behavior changes during these endeavors.
