Class project on Environment and Ressources.20pp report and a class presentation has to be done for April 2001.Project:- Co-op Sci'44 owns 18 houses on Queen's Campus, each counting about 9 people (total around 170).- Implement 3 main sectors of Co-op Sci'44 houses:1) Energy: programable thermostates, plastic for windows, change non-efficient windows, etc.2) Water: Shower, sink and toilet devices to be installed3) Waste Reduction: implement each house with 3 well labelled recycling boxes and 1 compost.- Do historical research for Energy and Water consumtion in the past 2 to 5 years.- Make some predictions for the future- Verify those predictions.- Check with municipality for "Compost pick-up"- find benifits and inconveniences for a society (and on a Global scale) to recycle and compost.- what's the best between hydro and gas?- etc.
