The Metropolitan Energy Center's Sustainable Solutions program provides community-based planning and development services in the metropolitan Kansas City region. Projects have included integrated community development initiatives for communities in the urban core area of Kansas City. These projects address the social, environmental, and economic issues as integtated pieces of community. Tranportation, air quality, community participation and involvement, energy, green building applications are all of interest.
