Our organization is working with our Nation (Navajo Nation) to start developing sustainable development, which does not degrade the environment and fits our cultural values. The past development that has occured is based on fossil fuel and non-renewable resources. This is putting our people and the future generation at risk. Coporation like Pebody Coal Company has been exploiting our people for too long and we can't risk to pay the ultimate price becasue we already paid a lot and very little has been returned. We want our tribal leaders to start looking into environtally save and sustainable development.
