I am an environmental program coordinator for WLSSD in Dulth, MN. I develop, manage, assist with, support, and deliver many different kinds of programs. Primarily I am working with food waste diversion and promotion of composting on a city wide scale. I am currently conducting a pilot program for 100 families in a neighborhood, and am providing support for commercial food waste recovery in Duluth. I also assist in marketing the end product made from residential yard waste and from the food waste we collect here: "Garden Green Compost". I also getting resdy to flesh out a program for city-wide and regional special events that that will facilitate waste reduction, recycling, and food waste recpvery by providing a blue print and support materials for event organizers. That and any number of other projects you'd expect from a district that handles both solid waste and wastewater treatment.
