I am working with TreePeople, a nonprofit organization based in Beverly Hills, CA. TreePeople has many projects that involve environmental improvement, from educational tours for elementary and secondary school groups to training members of neighboring communities in urban forestry. I work on a watershed management project that aims to minimize urban water runoff, and I am researching community outreach and education strategies to maximize community involvement in water management practices.
