I am a recent graduate of Stanford University in Stanford, CA, with an undergraduate degree in Human Biology and a Master's degree in Sociology. I completed my Honors thesis on fish consumption advisory awareness among anglers on my home state of Virginia's James River. I would like to study public health in the future with a focus on community health, rural health, and environmental health. I have an interest in stakeholder participation for rebuilding communities, and I believe that involving youth can be a boon for these community-based health and environmental projects, because it establishes trends towards civic engagement early on.
