I extract and identify community concerns related to cleanup of Superfund and other environmental sites in the state. I then design and implement strategies for encouraging community involvement and health education for CDPHE public health assessments and health consultations. To do so, I use a variety of tools, such as facilitation, alternative dispute resolution, mediation, collaboration, coordination and persuasion in my attempts to achieve consensus-building and integration of some pretty diverse stakeholders.
