Primary interest is in educating the public on environmental issues; in particular renewable energy initiatives, energy conservation and energy efficiency. In addition, I teach the Environmental Technology Program at Holland College which covers not only environmental issues (knowledge based courses in such things as soil conservation, water and groundwater quality, water and wastewater treatment, etc.) but technical skills to prepare students for working in this field
