FONAM (National Environmental Fund)is a private non profit institution, created by Congress Bill No 26793. It aims to promote sustainable development in Peru by obtaining, and allocating financial resources to environmental eligible projects. FONAM concentrates its activities on Climate Change, biodiversity conservation, global environment preservation, local pollution and water and solid waste management.
