Environmental education in an urban environment. Our role is that of a community center that seeks to connect residents within our community to the natural features present in the city. Our programs include environmental and science education for schools (K-12) in a 2 mile radius around the center, Citizen Science and other research projects in the wooded part of our park, adult discussion groups, after school programs and urban adventures (canoeing, kayaking, rock climbing, hiking in the city).
