I am employed as a local government Environment Planner. I intiated a program "Reducing business energy use through partnerships: local government and private sector". The project was a first of its kind in Australia and demonstrated that the model of local government working in partnership with large private sector companies can help medium to smaller business reduce their greenhouse emissions through energy efficency. My area of interest is related to the business sector and to refine the strategies to engagement of business in implementing abatement measures. My future interest centre on community engagement and acceptance strategies for radioactive waste storage facilities. Can CBSM approach be applied to this situation?
