We are located within the 488 acre Red Bluff Recreation Area just off Interstate 5 & Antelope Exit in Red Bluff. This recreation area has been designated as a California Watchable Wildlife site by the California Department of Fish and Game due to the 120 difference species of birds that have been sighted here. We have a Interpretive Visitor's Center and a two acre California naive plant and drought tolerant demonstration garden.We host the Discovery Garden Festival & Native Plant Sale the first Saturday in November, a National Public Lands Day-Annual Member Dinner on the last Saturday in September, and an Annual Watershed Celebration, the third Saturday in May.We offer the following environmental education programs: school internships for high school and community college students, day classes for school groups, camp program for school groups, rafting trips, tours of Discovery Garden, and monthly evening programs. Our ultimate goal is to change individual's daily behaviors to foster stewardship of natural resources.
