Major area of work is based on the public engagement of science, nature and conservation. I co-ordinate an event for science and wildlife communicators 'Communicate: An international conference on conservation and communication'. The conference will concentrate on how to turn the high level of environmental awareness in the UK into practical conservation action. I also co-ordinate a public natural history festival.
