I am a writer/reseacher currently working for the NSWA as the Education & Communication Coordinator. I wrote the North Saskatchewan River Guide for the NSWA in 2001, a little book that was designed to 'foster sustainable behaviour', although I did not know this particular phrase at the time. My interest in environmental issues is broad (I farmed organically in the 60's, wrote about sustainable woodlot practices for Harrowsmith Magazine in the 70's, wrote an organic gardening column in the 80's, studied environmentally friendly housing alternatives in the 90's, and in this century I am concerned about water quality and quantity)
