I was one of the founders of the Friends of Pleasant Bay and a former director of the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History. I have developed and instructed workshops in groundwater concepts as they relate to Cape Cod (Watershed to Bay: A Raindrop Journey) and specialisted in watershed (even tho I know Cape Cod is not a true watershed) education. I specialize in science education and curriclum development using the Mass. State Standards. I inject the environmental ethic and activities when possible. I am presently heading up a niasen Cape Cod Environmental Education Network that ran out of funding. The Cape Cod Museum is funding me for a few months to try and get additional funding to get it going again. We do have a Website www.CCEEN.org but it needs a lot of work. I am applying for a Capacity Building grant from New England Third Sector, through the Cape Cod Foundation, to get help in keeping our network together. I helped develop the Cape Cod Soil Tunnel, Recycling Puppet Show, and the Marine Beachcomber when I working for Barnstable Cooperative Extension.
