We are the Slow Islands Movement a collection of people from the 13 largest of the Gulf Islands of BC concerned about rapid development, the erosion of quality of island lifestyles and a host of environmental concerns such as lack of groundwater, tourism pressures, influx of new residents with city values and so on.
