I incorporate conservation psychology and behavior change into health and natural resource programming and research. The topics vary and currently include drinking water chemicals and birth impacts, and windbreaks used in agricultural areas. I've also worked on fire preparation and other issues. My research on educational programs, events, formal teaching, and nature center planning includes summative and formative evaluation. I am also interested in autistic adults and programming and education for neurodiverse people mainly focusing on autism, adhd, and dyslexia. My teaching is mainly zoo work and environmental education as well as environmental communications. Our environmental education and conservation storytelling master's degree programs include evaluation, storytelling, and behavior change.
