urban-rural logs to lumber community trees for public use. we just started to offer a 20% DONATION to any non profit who put our service to work. we would like to help interconnect,the resources we can find with the needs of low income,& artist.We have a interest in developing a reginal wood waste recovery system.THIS IS AN ANNOUNCEMENT LETTING YOU KNOW THAT â¨WOODFIRSTâà IS AVAILABLE FOR YOUR NEXT PROJECT!Whether your project is large or small!Weââ re here to assist you in ensuring that the logs from all our forests ecosystems be put to their highest possible use by Producing Ecologically Responsible Lumber for Community or personal use.We mill: furniture grade lumber, as well as, beams, decking, fence posts, hand railings ETCâñ Our rates:We do not charge for travel time for a 2 person crew for saw milling & handling of your logs to lumber.There is a $25.00 mill set up fee to ensure proper blade alignment.$55.00 per hour 2 hour minimum you bring your logs to our location:A $65.00 per hour 4 hour minimum, when you have a tractor and assist all lumber handling within 90 miles of Klamath Falls Oregonââ An$85.00 per hour 4 hour minimum in Klamath County, when we do all logs to lumber handling and stacking by hand Hourly rates include all blade adjustments done onsite.When your job site is over 100 miles from Klamath Falls Oregon, there is an 8 hour minimum @ $90.00 an hour.Lap siding & re-sawing services done upon request with prior reservation; the set-up fee is $35.00Milling prices subject to change without notice due to the consideration of fuel cost fluctuationsThe Advantages: We come to your site!You can reduce the cost of milling by providing equipment and manpower to assist in loading & unloading logs & lumberOur Computerized Wood-mizer saw mill can mill logs up to 20 feet+ long and from 10âà to 36âà in diameter.This band saw blade is only 1/16th in thickness. Giving you accurate smooth lumber up to 30% more than a circular saw blade mill can offer.You also save the fees for hauling the logs to a mill or lumber back to your job site.You receive all the lumber sawn from your logs as you monitor your cut lists for your project.We can do hand moving of logs at mill site when forklift or loader is not available or accessible.We refer a license contract timber faller who does our hazardous tree removal when needed.We stack all lumber and cap cuts and sawdust next to the mill.All chainsaw work required to trim logs to fit the mill when needed is billed at our hourly rate.We leave all cap cuts whole, or cut at our hourly rate firewood for your personal use or resale upon your requestAll site clean up is done after milling of each log for safetyWe work at $0.35- $0.45 a board foot depending on the log and job site condition when milling job is over10,000 board feet.All normal blade wear is included in our hourly charges*Please note: Any log under 8ft. long & any log over 28âà in diameter or under 10âà takes a little longer to manipulate on our mill,We will consider some very small or very large log manipulation projects, by an hourly rate only!Your Responsibilities for log preparation must be completed before we arrive with the saw mill:The logs need to be in one central location or there is an hourly fee for each time the saw mill is moved.The logs need to be cut to the desired length with a minimum of 8ââ maximum of 20'6", all limbs cut flush to bark, â¨No 45 degree cutsâà The pile of logs needs to be centered with all the trunk butt ends to one side to roll them onto our sawmill's hydraulic fork loaderThere is a Fee of $20.00 for each ruined blade.
