I promote local food availability and have advocated for small local farmers. I am currently working (for university class) on a policy analysis on rainwater collection for the City of Nanaimo. I have assisted with a "Linking People With Land" grant proposal for the Nanaimo Community Gardens Society, and had motions passed by the local co-operative on food security. As a member of Solutions, I will be lobbying our university to ban bottled water.
